GlavUpDK Cultural Center deals with one of the most important issues - organization of protocol events. In cooperation with diplomatic missions from various countries “Ambassadorial Soirees” are held. Prominent art personalities, renowned musicians, literati and painters are invited to perform. Moscow’s best orchestras, soloists of leading opera theatres show up on stage at the Cultural Center.

The Center features a permanent art exposition. Exhibitions of painting, sculpture, applied and decorative art, books, post cards and posters, photo works, flora art and hunting trophies are set up at the Cultural Center.


International Women’s Club, uniting the spouses of diplomats, traditionally organizes fashion, jewelry, coiffure shows, charity fairs and balls at the Cultural Center.


There are always a lot of interesting activities for children in the Cultural Center. Students from foreign schools are involved in art festivals, musical and literary competitions during the year, they participate in various tournaments, competitions. There is a number of hobby groups and sporting sections.

Christmas and New Year, Easter and Shrovetide – it’s always merry and noisy at the Cultural Center during these holidays. The leading folklore, singing and dancing ensembles are invited to the Cultural Center.

Sporting programs at the Center include 2 annual sport days - in summer and in winter. The first one is conducted in the Zavidovo recreational complex, a GlavUpDK Affiliate. It includes volleyball, football, tennis, billiards and fishing competitions. In winter, diplomats and their family relatives compete in skiing, broomball and football on the snow in “Nakhabino” Moscow Country Club.
